Kotaemon Quick Start Guide Review

Download and Installation

To get started with Kotaemon, you need to download the `kotaemon-app.zip` file from the latest release on GitHub. After downloading, unzip the file and navigate to the `scripts` folder. From there, you can start the installer that matches your operating system: for Windows, run `run_windows.bat` by double-clicking it; for macOS, use `run_macos.sh` by opening it with Terminal; for Linux, execute `run_linux.sh` using `bash run_linux.sh` in your terminal.

Once the installation is complete, the installer will prompt you to launch Kotaemon's UI. If you choose to continue, the application will automatically open in your browser.

Launching the Application

After the initial setup, you can launch Kotaemon at any time by running the appropriate `run_*` script again. This will open a browser window displaying the Kotaemon interface, starting with the Chat tab.
